First Lady of Ukraine Olga Zelensky is expected to visit Israel after receiving an invitation from the First Lady of Israel Michal Herzog.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniichuk reported that the talks are currently underway to coordinate the visit, expected to take place in the coming few weeks, and expressed hope that the meeting will focus on humanitarian issues.
Amongst other things, the two will discuss mental health assistance, aid packages for children, and treatment of PTSD. Zelensky is expected to visit Ukrainian patients that are recovering and receiving treatment in Israeli hospitals.
